Facebook Fanpage

Facebook Ingrediënts

1. Claim your Facebook username and own your domain URL
e.g www. facebook.com/BrandedBusinessPage
You don’t need a minimum number of fans to do this anymore (it used to be 25) but choose carefully as you can’t change your username once you have over 100 fans.

2. Invest in a professional image
To enhance your companies existing branding and art work with a bespoke banner and welcome landing page. Your banner image design is a great place to contain your website URL and logo.

3. The ‘About’ section

Put your website URL and a few words here that sum up what you do – this displays neatly on your page where it displays ‘About.’

4. Offer exclusive content to fans
When they like the page offer them something of value, a promotion or discount.

5. Add yourself as a page owner to give a “Face’’ to your business

We’re always curious to know who’s behind the scenes. Go to edit info, featured (down the left side), add featured page owners. This displays the profile picture of your page admin down the left hand side of your page and it also adds the page to their profile.

6. Add a contact form
This gives your clients and customers a direct way of contacting you straight from your page without having to look for it.

7. Integrate the free social media apps
To enhance your page of the sites that you are using such as Twitter, Youtube and Google +.
To add the Google+ App https://apps.facebook.com/googleplusforpages/
To add Youtube https://apps.facebook.com/videobox/

8. Choose an impacting Cover for the top of your page
For a visual impact such as your logo in different colours or use an image that express what your business does.

9. Create an Editorial Calander

Plan ahead and set time aside. If you know what you’re saying to your fans each day they know what to expect and are more likely to return to your page.

10. Every new like is a potential lead

When someone likes your page thank them and send a personal message to start a conversation with them.
